This olympic experience...
Hi there, Wanted to thank you all for your support through the years. This olympic experience has been great, the result is not quite there, so I'm disappointed but I have no regret at all. I gave my best, during the contest and even more in my preparation. It's been a hard year with a lot of injuries, everytime I had to fight to come back strong and move forward. And that's the most important thing I've learned in this journey, everytime you fall is to get back on your feet stronger than ever, that's why nothing's done for me, I have so much more challenges to achieve and I won't give up. Thanks again. Mathieu

last trainings
That's it, the french selection is made for the olympics, it's gonna be Gary Zebrowski, Aluan Ricciardi, Arhtur Longo and myself going to Vancouver.
But for now we are in Park City for our last days of training. The conditions are great, everybody feels a bit of pressure coming up and is riding super good.
We had some bad news about the olympic pipe in cypress where it's really warm right now but it will be ready in time.
Next update live from Vancouver.

mammoth training
The rest of the french team joined me in mammoth for some quality training in the pipe but it didn't really turned how we'd imagined it but we still had great times.
Check out the video...

crying earth
Crazy photo that I found. Seams like the earth is crying sad of what we do to mother nature.
Climate change as taken a human face to maybe help us realize that the situation is critical but it not to late.
We can still act...

mammoth
grand prix
Hi,
I've been in mammoth for 2 weeks now, started up with 2 grands prix, with are the qualificatives events for US riders for the olympics. The pipe was amazing and riding as well. The first comp saw danny davis win with probably the best pipe run in date and shaun white won the second one. I made finals on both comps, but was a little tired coming up straight from france with jetlag, but it looks promissing. I'm staying here for more training.
Keep in touch.

Happy new year
Just a quick word to wish you all the best for this new year.
2009 has been amazing for me in a weird kind of way. With highs and lows from injuries and crazy car accident to wonderful trips meeting great people. It's been a year full of new experiences but all of them creates incredible memories.
Hope 2010 will all bring us what we expect but also a few surprises witch make life so interesting.

Test double corks without airbag!
Hi all,

After The Tony Hawk show, I went back on the snow in Laax with the French team, where we have found a pretty good pipe to train far from all the "US/Colorado" hype, it snowed a lot so we could get a few pow turns and get used to the transition again and test double corks without airbag!  Check the link http://www.vimeo.com/8180869
Funny to hear how happy is the coach, Stephane, for me.

After a 10 days period training no stop I went back to France for a week-end, I was supposed to take it easy and I almost did. First I went to Courchevel for “trophée passion” award, kind of the Oscar ceremony for French mainstream sport journalists where best media dudes receive golden microphone. I met up with my friend Bixente who won the newomer axward for his radio show on RTL. After a gala dinner with interesting people I drove the next morning to Avoriaz for the last stage of Rock on Snowboard tour mixed with the opening of the resort. I gave interview for Orange TV, rode with my friend Sylvain Bourbousson and could catch up with the French scene, which is always a pleasure. Now I’m back to Laax till this week end where I’ll be in Domaine du tourmalet- la Mongie for the Rendez Vous Des Etoiles in my home resort in the Pyrenees to celebrate the World Snowboard Day on December 20th. I’m looking forward to that and to a family vibe Christmas.
Most of the resorts are opening now so enjoy your upcoming holiday and talk soon.
